The amazing Whistler print to the left is from a really good book about prints (Prints: Art and Techniques.) It's hard to describe why, but I think this print is just the epitome of draftmenship and drawing. I could look at it for hours. See more of Whistler's prints from Venice here.

Below are da Vinci drawings in honor of his show at the Met which I saw last year. I prefer line drawings and sketches to paintings, as you can tell by this page.
